A metal detectorist in Lelley, East Yorkshire, discovered the gold coin that dates back to about 50 to 10 BCE (during the Iron Age). According to David Duggleby Auctioneers in Scarborough, the coin is a variant of a Corieltauvi tribe gold stater .

In a first for UK construction, a three-bedroom house in Everingham, East Yorkshire is being built with help of a robot bricklayer rather human labourers.
